Embargo: 6 de marzo de 2008, 08h30 (Hora de Bruselas) SOLVAY CONCLUYE LA VENTA DE LA ACTIVIDAD DE COMPUESTOS DE POLIPROPILENO A LYONDELLBASELL Solvay ha anunciado hoy que ha concluido la venta del 100% de su filial Solvay Engineered Polymers (SEP), importante proveedor de compuestos de polipropileno a LyondellBasell Industries. La transacción, originalmente anunciada en noviembre de 2007, se completó tras la recepción de las autorizaciones reglamentarias pertinentes. SEP, esencialmente activa en la zona del TLCAN (Tratado de Libre Comercio de América del Norte), tiene actividades en Mansfield y Grand Prairie, Texas, así como en Auburn Hills, Michigan. La empresa también tiene representación en Europa y en China a través de sus oficinas de ventas. Las ventas anuales de SEP representan menos del 2% del volumen de negocios del grupo Solvay.
