Press release Van de Velde NV 29|03|2007 Van de Velde NV (Van de Velde) and the Nethero Management Company LLC have reached an agreement in order to let Van de Velde acquire shares of the US Company Intimacy Management LLC (Intimacy). Van de Velde will acquire minority position in Intimacy and has the possibility to increase its shareholding in the long term. Van de Velde is interested in a long-term strategy of brand building and developing their retail clients worldwide. Intimacy is considered as a successful top class retailer that has developed and implemented a strong business concept translating a woman's dream into a very visionary, pragmatic, profitable and sustainable experience. Intimacy will remain a multibrand store managed by the Nethero's and the existing leadership team, with independent operations and decision rights. The objective is to grow Intimacy within its clear mission of changing women's lives. Both companies will work on specific programmes to enhance styling and fit for women. Van de Velde can realise the transaction with proper funds. No external financing will be necessary. Presentation of Intimacy Management Company Intimacy was founded in 1991 by Susan Nethero as a specialty retailer of lingerie. Intimacy currently runs three stores in Atlanta, New York and Chicago.
