(LFSA), filiales pertenecientes al 100% a Solvay Pharmaceuticals, anuncian hoy que han iniciado acciones legales en Estados Unidos contra Teva Pharmaceuticals por violación de patente. En enero de 2008 Teva Pharmaceuticals informó a Fournier de que había depositado una Solicitud Abreviada de Nuevo Medicamento - Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) - ante la Administración de Alimentos y Medicamentos de EEUU (FDA) con la finalidad de registrar una versión genérica del TriCor® (fenofibrato) 145mg NFE en Estados Unidos. En el marco de su solicitud, Teva presentó una certificación de Párrafo IV, como requiere la Ley.
