Embargo: 3 marzo 2008 ore 8:30 (ora di Bruxelles) Fournier Laboratories difende il diritto alla proprietà intellettuale su TriCor® (fenofibrato) 145mg NFE Fournier Laboratories Ireland Ltd (LFI) e Laboratoires Fournier S.A. (LFSA), entrambe controllate al 100% di Solvay Pharmaceuticals, annunciano oggi di aver avviato un'azione legale per violazione di brevetto negli Stati Uniti contro Teva Pharmaceuticals. Nel gennaio 2008 Fournier è stato informato da Teva Pharmaceuticals che quest'ultima aveva depositato una richiesta di Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) presso la Food and Drug Administration (FDA) allo scopo di ottenere la registrazione di una versione generica del farmaco TriCor® (fenofibrato) 145mg NFE negli Stati Uniti. Nell'ambito della richiesta, Teva ha presentato la certificazione ai sensi del paragrafo IV come previsto dalla legislazione vigente.
