Embargo: 6 marzo 2008 ore 8:30 (ora di Bruxelles) SOLVAY FINALIZZA LA CESSIONE DELL'ATTIVITÀ di composti di polipropilene a LYONDELLBASELL Solvay annuncia oggi di aver concluso la cessione del 100% della controllata Solvay Engineered Polymers (SEP), fornitore leader di composti di polipropilene, a LyondellBasell Industries. L'operazione, annunciata nel novembre 2007, è stata finalizzata non appena ottenute le necessarie autorizzazioni regolamentari. SEP, attiva principalmente nell'area del North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), ha operazioni a Mansfield e Grand Prairie, nello stato del Texas, nonché a Auburn Hills, nel Michigan. La società ha inoltre uffici commerciali in Europa e in Cina. Le vendite annue di SEP ammontano a meno del 2% dei ricavi del gruppo Solvay.
